UBM India flags off 1st edition of Personal Care Industry Expo
19th August 2015, New Delhi: UBM India today launched its first edition of the Personal Care Industry Expo, India’s first international trade event catering to the personal care, cosmetic & home care ingredients, machinery and packaging industries at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The exclusive trade show inaugurated by Shahnaz Husain, CMD, Shahnaz Husain Group of Companies, has been well received by the industry at large with support from Chemexcil - Basic Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals & Cosmetics Export Promotion Council (a Ministry of Commerce & Industry Government of India initiative), The Indian Home & Personal Care Industry Association (IHPCIA), Fragrances and Flavours Association of India (FAFAI), EU Chamber of Commerce, Oil Technologists’ Association of India - West Zone (OTAI), and the All India Cosmetic Manufacturers’ Association (AICMA).
Spread over three days, the event provides an industry platform for International Buyer-Seller Meets to cosmetics & ingredients manufacturers, exporters/importers, distributors, consultants and trade bodies. The opening day witnessed over 125 industry exhibitors presenting their products and services in Cosmetics Ingredients, Raw Material and Contract Manufacturing, Packaging and Machinery, Ayurveda & Nutraceutical ingredients.
Key exhibitors participating this year include Aarti Industries Limited, Ace Technologies, Agilent Technologies, Ancalima Lifesciences Limited, Arochem Ratlam Pvt. Furthermore, the event also witnessed an international pavilion from China with Cosmetic Packaging, Dispensing Pumps and Aerosol Valves products on display.

The industry response received so far, has endorsed our strategy for launching Personal Care India Expo 2015”.

The show is also marked by a series of industry seminars and workshops on Packaging & Technology, Digital Packaging, Ingredients & Raw Material, Fragrance & Flavours on all the three days.
